Treat the Chain as One System
DPF, DOC and SCR use different mechanisms, but each module changes the conditions seen by the next. Module order, temperature, composition and total backpressure therefore have to be checked together.
Design for Measurement and Maintenance
Temperature, differential-pressure and emissions measurement points were arranged for repeated tests. Filter cleaning, catalyst removal and sensor calibration all required clear service paths.
Validate Across the Full Load Range
From idle to full load, exhaust flow, temperature, pressure loss and pollutant composition change together. Each load point was treated as a separate operating condition.
